[metapost] mptopdf corrupts source file

Yes, it solves the renaming problem.

However, if my MetaPost file contains

verbatimtex
    \setupbodyfont[10pt]
etex
---

it doesn't (evidently). In my workflow I need to adjust the font size though and so far the method that has worked best for me is using this ConTeXt syntax.

What do you suggest?
