Phil Taylor asks about MD5 checksums on Windows.

Yes, that is possible: see

	http://www.math.utah.edu/pub/texlive-utah/Images/

The command in a terminal (command.com or PowerShell) window

	certutil -hashfile filename md5

reports an MD5 checksum; change "md5" to "sha512" to use a Secure Hash
Algorithm at the 512-bit level.

However, I suspect that the byte lengths of the file may be enough to
identify a truncated file problem that caused the installer to fail,
in which case, the checksums are of no use.
