unlike \LaTeX logo, \TeX logo is not well formed in table of contents
(in current text, it is OK).

Indeed, the following MCE:

leads to:

   <div class="tableofcontents">
   <span class="sectionToc" >1 <a
href="#x1-20001" id="QQ2-1-2"><span class="LATEX">L<span
   class="A">A</span><span class="TEX">T<span
   class="E">E</span>X</span></span></a></span> <br />   <span
   class="sectionToc" >2 <a href="#x1-30002" id="QQ2-1-3">TEX</a></span>

whereas, in the current text, \TeX logo is coded:

  <span class="TEX">T<span class="E">E</span>X</span>

Is there a simple workaround?
