[tex4ht] Paragraph semantics in xhmlatex

Text following displayed equations seems always converted to new paragraphs, 
with indentation, when a LaTeX file is converted to xhtml+MathML with "mk4ht 
xhmlatex." You can see this, for example, by looking at

Following equation (9), the "with" is indented in the HTML document, but not 
indented in the PDF one. Both were produced from the same input file. This 
breaks LaTeX semantics, and, interestingly, does not show in htmls produced with 

"mk4ht htlatex". Is there a remedy in sight, or is this considered "a feature?"
