I was hesitating too, so I'll revert my change and keep amsmath as the
only alias to amsldoc.

By the way, if you want to suggest other arrangements for the ams*
documentation names in texdoc, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
(Though I use amsmath+amssymb daily, I must admit I don't know a lot the
other ams packages and their doc.)
