This suggestion aims to facilitate juxtaposition of
slanted symbols (for group theory etc).
(*) Allow the user to turn off and on the automatic IC
advance in math.
This would make cmmi10 as suitable for group theory
calculations as cmr10 already is.
Incidentally I sure hope the new accent primitives
of e-TeX (math and non math) make an accented character
kern just like the unaccented version! This comes to
mind because the bar accent is often used in group
theory to indicate inverse.
