Guests of honor

To commemorate TeX's 25 anniversary, many members of the original Stanford TeX project plan to attend the conference, first and foremost, Donald Knuth. In addition, David Fuchs, John Hobby, Michael Plass, Oren Patashnik, Tom Rokicki, Luis Trabb Pardo, Howard Trickey, and Joe Weening all expect to attend.

A panel with the Stanford TeX project members who are present, followed by a special announcement by Dr. Knuth, will close the conference on Wednesday, June 30. The panel will have plenty of time for q&a by the audience. The conference banquet will follow that evening.

LaTeX workshop: Monday

We will hold an introductory LaTeX workshop on June 28, taught by Sue DeMeritt and Cheryl Ponchin, concurrent with the regular talks. (We have attempted to schedule more advanced talks for that day.)

People who wish to attend only the workshop are very welcome; we ask only a nominal fee for this.
